The Xiamen University's School of Management EDP 12th Executive Class had visited our association on the 23th March 2012. The 1st Vice-President of our association, Dr. Lim Wie Ming, hosted the meeting. The contingent of 23 members was led by Miss Lin TeShu (Deputy Managing Director Xiamen University's School of Management Centre EDP Fuzhou), Miss Chen Yan (Xiamen University's School of Management Centre EDP Fuzhou, Course Head Teacher) and Mr. Chen BiSong (the Course Monitor and also the Chairman of the Board Fujian Yuan Xin Enterprise Group, Fuzhou City Member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference ).

The association had organized our very first International Women’s Day cum Senior Family Group 20th anniversary celebration on the 11 March 2012 at our association main hall from 9 am to 1 pm. The programme includes complementary health screening for participants, Futsing opera and traditional cultural performances; oldies and Hokkien songs performance, flower decoration demonstration, karaoke session and traditional Futsing delicacies.

Annual General Meeting 2011 cum Chinese New Year celebration 2012 was held in the Futsing Association Main Hall on 25 January 2012. Our Guest Of Honor is Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources. Mrs. Balakrishnan and Mr. Gong Chunsen, Head Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy Singapore have also attended the event. Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan presented the merit awards to the academically outstanding students of Poi Ching School. He also presented 19 scholarships to the children of the association members.
